Overview

Document Templates control how a PPTX or a DOCX file be generated. In a nutshell, they are represented by standard PPTX or DOCX file with specific styling and data placeholders. The finalized document templates are uploaded to a specific version of the account or opportunity plan template. To use a single document template with multiple plan templates, you can search for an already uploaded template using the browse option.

Upload Document Templates

Document templates configuration is located in ClosePlan Admin > Templates > Select Template > Open Export Options tab

To add Document Template to selected version :

• Click Upload or drag files over the upload buttons

• Or search for existing templates using the Browse button

• Note that you can select only files with proper format (PPTX/DOCX)

• You can define as many templates as you like for specific Template version

   

Once template is added into the list, new options become available in the Export Wizard.
