Custom Attributes

Custom Attributes control Product Lines and Metrics in Whitespace used in Account Plan Templates.

• Product Lines - Product Lines are the Products and Services or groups of Products and Services that your company provides

• Metrics - Metrics are the measurable aspects that are most important to your Account Plan strategy.

Example of an Account Plan with Product Lines and Metrics deployed in the Whitespace:

Custom Attributes Layout and Navigation

Custom Attributes are Product Lines and Metrics.

To find Custom Attributes in your Org:

• Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Custom Attributes

Open

• Name: Name of the item

• Type: Indicates Product Line or Metric

• Field Type: Indicates the Field Type (example: Picklist, Number, etc)

• Field API Name: Autofilled

• DB Status: Indicates if the Product Line or Metric is active

• Description: Text information about the Product Line or Metric

• New: Create a new Custom Attribute

• Change Picklist Values: Change the Picklist values

• Create Missing Fields: Creates Missing Fields. If a field is missing, it will be indicated under the DB Status (e.g.: If a Template is imported from a Sandbox, the XSBF field may not exist in the Production Org.)

  • Fields may also be created individually by clicking on the down arrow

     

• Correct FLS Permissions: Corrects Field Level Security Permissions

• Restore Deleted Fields: Restores Deleted Fields

• Delete Related Fields: Deletes all Related Fields

• Delete All Attributes: Deletes All Attributes

Note: XSBF items live on the CP: AP Whitespace Item Object (TSPC__AP_WS_Item__c)

Create Product Line Item

Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Custom Attributes

• Click on New

• In the Modal, follow the steps

• Select Whitespace

• Select Product Line

• Object: White Space

• Type: Type of item, Product Line

• Field Type: Select the field type needed

• Name: Name the Product Line

• Field API Name: Auto-filled

• Fully Qualified API Name: Auto-filled

• Description: Add a description if needed

• Click Save

Create Metric

• Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Custom Attributes

• Click on New

• In the Modal, follow the steps

• Select Whitespace

• Select Metric

• Object: White Space

• Type: Type of item, Metric

• Field Type: Select the field type needed

• Name: Name the Metric

• Field API Name: Auto-filled

• Fully Qualified API Name: Auto-filled

• Description: Add a description if needed

• Click Save

Change Picklist Values

Picklist Values are the available choices to indicate the status of a Whitespace Tile
