To uninstall the ClosePlan app from a Sandbox or a Production Org, the following are required:

  • ClosePlan is currently installed

  • The User who will uninstall ClosePlan is a Sys Admin

  • The User has an active ClosePlan license

Uninstall ClosePlan:

  1. Go to Setup > Historical Trending > object CP Event > disable the checkbox Enable Historical Trending and Save

  1. Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Environment > Maintenance > click Delete Context Metadata button and Confirm.

    1. NOTE:
      If there is any problem, this step can be achieved also manually by deleting all the records related to ClosePlan Custom Metadata Type objects.
      To do that, navigate to Setup > Custom Code > Custom Metadata Types and click Manage Records. Delete all records for following objects:


3. Go to Installed Packages and uninstall ClosePlan app

Troubleshooting:

  1. If Delete Context Metadata button is disabled:

The likely reason is that the Connected App configuration is broken (configuration for ClosePlan Metadata)

To resolve:

  • Go to Setup > Named Credentials > click Edit by ClosePlan Metadata Service and Save.

  • Log in to your organization and return to the Delete Context Metadata button. It should be active.

  • If the button is still disabled, please check and verify the configuration for:

    • Connected app

    • Auth.Provider

    • Named Credentials
