Overview
Users assigned with ClosePlan Admin status can do many, but not all actions in ClosePlan Admin areas.
In this example, the User was assigned with ClosePlan Admin status, but was prevented from creating Custom Attributes for Account Planning.
This is because creating a Custom Attribute creates a Custom Field on the Object:
CP: AP Whitespace Item (TSPC_AP_WS_Item__c)
Creating Custom Attributes for Account Planning requires the User to be:
A Salesforce System Administrator
OR
Have permission to Customize Applications, while also being assigned as a ClosePlan Admin
Error Message:
This configuration requires Salesforce Administrator
Solution:
The User must request their Salesforce System Administrator to add the Custom Attributes (It can be done in 2-3 minutes...)
Or
The User can ask their Salesforce Admin to give them permission to 'Customize Application'
Note:
This behavior is built into ClosePlan because adding a Custom Attribute creates a custom field on the ClosePlan Custom Object "TSPC_AP_WS_Item__c".
Creating a Custom Field requires Salesforce System Administrator access or the 'Customize Application' permission. This permission is not normally assigned to Users. Please contact your Salesforce System Administrator to request permission.
