To uninstall the ClosePlan app from a Sandbox or a Production Org, the following are required:
ClosePlan is currently installed
The User who will uninstall ClosePlan is a Sys Admin
The User has an active ClosePlan license
Uninstall ClosePlan:
Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Environment > Maintenance > click Delete Context Metadata button and Confirm
2. Go to Setup > Historical Trending > object CP Event > disable the checkbox Enable Historical Trending and Save
3. Go to Installed Packages and uninstall ClosePlan app
Troubleshooting:
If Delete Context Metadata button is disabled:
The likely reason is that the Connected App configuration is broken (configuration for ClosePlan Metadata)
To resolve:
Go to Setup > Named Credentials > click Edit by ClosePlan Metadata Service and Save.
Log in to your organization and return to the Delete Context Metadata button. It should be active.
If the button is still disabled, please check and verify the configuration for:
Connected app
Auth.Provider
Named Credentials
