Opportunity

Opportunities with/without ClosePlan

The ClosePlan Forecast Report can be created on a standard report type, or on the custom report type

  • Opportunities with ClosePlans - Standard report type.

    • This Report shows only Opportunities with a ClosePlan.

    • These reports cannot be modified; the standard fields in the report type layout cannot be renamed

  • Opportunities with/without ClosePlan - Custom report type.

    • This Report shows Opportunities with and without a ClosePlan.

    • In this Report, fields can be renamed, however, hidden fields and a few standard fields will not be available (e.g. Fiscal period, Age)

To create the 'Opportunities with/without ClosePlan' custom report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Report Type Label: Opportunities with/without ClosePlan

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithWithoutClosePlan

  • Description: Opportunities with/without ClosePlan

  • Store in Category: Opportunities

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select ClosePlan and tick “A” records may or may not have related “B” records

  • Save

Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Answers

This report type will show a report with

  • Scorecard Categories

  • Scorecard Questions

  • Scorecard Answers

  • Notes

To create the 'Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Answers' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report Types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Report Type Label: Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Answers

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithScorecardQuestionsAndAnswers

  • Description: Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Answers

  • Store in Category: Opportunities

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select ClosePlan > Each “A” record must have at least one related “B” records

  • For another object select Scorecard Questions > Each “B” record must have at least one related “C” records

  • For last object select Answers > “C” records may or may not have related “D” records

  • Save

Scorecard Answers are found in unique fields

NOTE: This report type will not include:

  • Scorecard Category Score % field

    • Displays the score for individual categories in the report based on the template.

  • Category Sort Order field

    • Orders Scorecard categories in the report based on the template.

In this case these 2 fields need to be added to this report type via lookup.

  • Click Edit Layout

  • From View select Scorecard Questions Fields and hit Add fields related via lookup

  • Open Question Category

  • Select Sort Order and Total Score % fields > Ok

  • Find the fields in the Scorecard Question section and rename them for Category Score % and Category Sort Order

    • How to rename the fields: double click on the field > rename > Ok

  • Click Save to save the layout.

Fields used to report on Scorecard Questions and Answers

Each Question Type has a different Field that will display the related answer.

NOTES:

  • In Question Types with additional Text fields, 2 fields are needed to display the entirety of the answer.

  • Some information in the Report image is unique to this sample Report. Each Organization is unique, so fields such as ‘Picklist’ relate to picklists in your Organization. In this example the selected picklists are

    • Delivery Status

    • DB Competitor

This report type shows Opportunities with Scorecard Categories, Questions, Notes and Tasks (named in the Scorecard as Actions)

To create the 'Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Tasks' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Report Type Label: Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Tasks

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithScorecardQuestionsAndTasks

  • Description: Opportunities with Scorecard Questions and Tasks

  • Store in Category: Opportunities

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select ClosePlan > Each “A” record must have at least one related “B” records

  • Select CP: Deal Questions > Each “B” record must have at least one related “C” records

  • Select Activities > “C” records may or may not have related “D” records

  • Save

The Report Type will not include Scorecard Category Score % field and Category Sort Order field to order the categories in the report based on the template ordering.

In this case these 2 fields need to be added to this report type via lookup.

  • Click Edit Layout

  • From View select Scorecard Questions Fields and then Add fields related via lookup

Opportunities with Playbook Events and Checklist Items

This report type shows Opportunities with Playbook Events and Checklist Items.

To create the 'Opportunities with Playbook Events and Checklist Items' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Report Type Label: Opportunities with CP Events and Checklist Items

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithCPEventsAndChecklistItems

Opportunities with Relationship Maps and Stakeholders (Contacts)

Report type shows Relationship Maps only with Stakeholders = added Contacts to the map and automatically added Contacts from the Opportunity Contact Roles when CP is created.

This report type shows e.g. # Stakeholders, Stakeholders attributes = Contact Name, Decision Influence, Role, Relationship, Support Status, Notes

To create the ‘Opportunities with Relationship Maps and Stakeholders’ report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Report Type Label: Opportunities with Maps with Stakeholders

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithMapsWithStakeholders

  • Description: Opportunities with CP Relationship Maps and with Stakeholders

  • Store in Category: Opportunities

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

Opportunities with Relationship Maps and with/without Stakeholders (Contacts)

Report type shows Relationship Maps with and without Stakeholders = added Contacts to the map, automatically added Contacts from the Opportunity Contact Roles when CP is created and opportunities where ClosePlan has been created but there is no Contact yet.

This report type shows e.g. # Stakeholders, Stakeholders attributes => Contact Name, Decision Influence, Role, Relationship, Support Status, Notes

To create the 'Opportunities with Relationship Maps and with/without Stakeholders' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Report Type Name: OpportunitiesWithMapsWithWithoutStakeholders

  • Description: Opportunities with CP Relationship Maps and with/without Stakeholders

Accounts with Relationship Maps and Stakeholders (Contacts)

Report type shows Accounts with Relationship Maps and only with Stakeholders

  • Stakeholders are Contacts that have been added to the map.

This report type shows e.g. Relationship Map Name, # Stakeholders, Stakeholders attributes => Contact Name, Decision Influence, Role, Relationship, Support Status, Notes

To create the 'Accounts with Relationship Maps and Stakeholders' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Report Type Label: CP Account Maps with Stakeholders

  • Report Type Name: CPAccountMapsWithStakeholders

  • Description: Accounts with Relationship maps and with Stakeholders

  • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Select Account Maps > Each “A” record must have at least one related “B” record

  • For another object select Nodes > Each “B” record must have at least one related “C” record

Accounts with Relationship Maps and with/without Stakeholders (Contacts)

Report type shows Accounts with Relationship Maps that may or may not have Stakeholders.

  • Note: Stakeholders are Contacts that have been added to the map.

To create the 'Accounts with Relationship and with/without Stakeholders' report type:

  • Report Type Label: CP Account Maps with/without Stakeholders

  • Report Type Name: CPAccountMapsWithWithoutStakeholders

  • Description: Accounts with Relationship maps and with/without Stakeholders

  • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select Account Maps > Each “A” record must have at least one related “B” records

  • For another object select Nodes > “B” records may or may not have related “C” records

  • Save

Contacts with/without Account Map Nodes

Report type shows contacts mapped in the Account Maps as Stakeholders.

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Contact

    • Report Type Label: Contacts with/without Account Maps Nodes

    • Report Type Name: ContactsWithWithoutAccountMapsNodes

    • Description: Contacts with/without Account maps nodes

    • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

    • Deployment Status: Deployed

    • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select CP: Account Map Nodes > “A” record may or may not have related “B” record

  • Save

Report type will not include the Account name the account map is associated with and the Account map name fields. In this case these fields or other fields from the Account Map Nodes object need to be added to this report type via lookup.

  • Click Edit Layout

  • From View select CP:Account Map Nodes Fields and hit Add fields related via lookup

  • Open Map

  • Select Name

  • click view related fields by the Account

  • select Account Name and hit Ok

  • To rename the fields, go to Account map nodes section and rename it as needed. For example Account Name rename for Map: Account Name, Name rename to Account Map Name

    • How to rename the fields: double clic on the field > rename > Ok

  • Click Save to save the layout.

Contacts with/without Activities

Report type shows contacts with/without Activities (tasks)

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Contact

    • Report Type Label: Contacts with/without Activities

    • Report Type Name: ContactsWithWithoutActivities

    • Description: Contacts with/without Activities

    • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

    • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select Activities (if there are 2 Activities, select the second one) > “A” record may or may not have related “B” record

  • Save

Accounts with Account Plans and Whitespace Items

Report type shows Accounts with Account Plans and Whitespace attributes = business units, product lines, metrics, account maps

This report type shows e.g. Account plan Name, Scorecard Score % overall, created Business Units, selected picklist for Product lines, Metrics, related Opportunities, Account maps, # Stakeholders (Contacts)

To create the 'Accounts with Account Plans and Whitespace Items' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

Primary Object: Account

  • Report Type Label: Account Plans with Whitespace

  • Report Type Name: AccountPlansWithWhitespace

  • Description: Account Plans with Whitespace attributes

  • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select CP Account Plans > Each “A” record must have at least one related “B” record

  • For another object select Whitespace Items > Each “B” record must have at least one related “C” record

  • Save

Report type will not include # Stakeholders field. In this case this field or other fields from the Account Maps object need to be added to this report type via lookup.

  • Click Edit Layout

  • From View select Whitespace Items Fields and hit Add fields related via lookup

  • Open Account Map

  • Select # Stakeholders > Ok

  • To rename the field, go to Whitespace Items section and rename it for # Stakeholders

    • How to rename the fields: double clic on the field > rename > Ok

  • Click Save to save the layout.

Accounts with Account Plan Scorecard Questions and Answers

This report type shows Accounts with Scorecard Score Categories, Questions, Answers and Notes

To create the 'Accounts with Account Plan Scorecard Questions and Answers' report type:

  • Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Accounts

  • Report Type Label: Account Plan Scorecard Questions with Answers

  • Report Type Name: AccountPlanScorecardQuestionsWithAnswers

  • Description: Accounts with Account Plan Scorecard Questions and Answers

  • Store in Category: Accounts & Contacts

  • Deployment Status: Deployed

  • Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)
