If you see this error, it indicates the client has used all the fields within the managed package limit. The normal limit on the Opportunity Object is 500, the max limit is 800 fieldsFor the Enterprise Edition, you can create 500 custom fields on an object plus install 400 fields from a managed package and 100 of those fields are limited to specific objects. ClosePlan requires 6 fields.

As a general rule, any org that has 500+ fields on their Opportunity Object should review their list and take appropriate actions to delete unused fields.
