To uninstall the ClosePlan app from your a Sandbox or a Production , follow these steps:

  1. Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Environment > Maintenance > hit Delete Context Metadata button and Confirm

2. Org, the following are required:

  • ClosePlan is currently installed

  • The User who will uninstall ClosePlan is a Sys Admin

  • The User has an active ClosePlan license

Uninstall ClosePlan:

  1. Go to Setup > Historical Trending > object CP Event > disable the checkbox Enable Historical Trending and Save

3. Go to Installed Packages and uninstall ClosePlan app

Troubleshooting:

  1. If Delete Context Metadata button is disabled:

The likely reason is that the Connected App configuration is broken (configuration for ClosePlan Metadata)

To resolve:

  • Go to Setup > Named Credentials >

    hit

    click Edit by ClosePlan Metadata Service and Save.

  • Log in to your organization and

    hit

    return to the Delete Context Metadata button. It should be active.

  • If the button is still disabled, please check out the and verify the configuration for:

    • Connected app

    ,
    • Auth.Provider

    and
    • Named Credentials

NOTE: If there is any problem, or you don't want to configure Connected App, this step can be also achieved manually by deleting all the records related to ClosePlan Custom Metadata Type objects.
