To uninstall the ClosePlan app from your a Sandbox or a Production , follow these steps:
Go to ClosePlan Admin tab > Environment > Maintenance > hit Delete Context Metadata button and Confirm

The User who will uninstall ClosePlan is a Sys Admin
The User has an active ClosePlan license
Uninstall ClosePlan:
Go to Setup > Historical Trending > object CP Event > disable the checkbox Enable Historical Trending and Save

The likely reason is that the Connected App configuration is broken (configuration for ClosePlan Metadata)
To resolve:
Go to Setup > Named Credentials >
hitclick Edit by ClosePlan Metadata Service and Save.
Log in to your organization and
hitreturn to the Delete Context Metadata button. It should be active.
