Overview

The Export Wizard is used to export both Opportunity ClosePlans and also Account Plans.

The export can be

  • Adobe PDF (.pdf)

  • Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx)

  • Microsoft Word (.docx)

Export PDF

By default pdf format is used to render document for export. Below is the description of the export wizard UI elements.

  1. Displayed Account Plan Export Section - Can be hidden by clicking the eye icon

  2. Hidden Account Plan Export Section - Can be displayed by clicking the red eye icon

  3. Displayed Account Plan Scorecard Section - Displayed sections may contain both hidden and displayed questions.

  4. Hidden Account Plan Scorecard Question - Questions can be displayed by clicking the eye icon

  5. Export Type - Can be PDF, PPTX or DOCX

  6. Name of Section

    1. Arrows icon- Expands and collapses section. Both collapsed and expanded sections will be included and displayed in final export

    2. Eye Icon - Controls whether the section will be included or excluded in the final export

  7. Displayed Account Plan Scorecard Section

Export Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx) and Microsoft Word (.docx)

The Export Wizard enables the creation of PDF files and editable Powerpoint and Docx files. Powerpoint and Docx files are based on document templates created and uploaded to the individual Templates here:

  • ClosePlan Admin tab > Templates > Export Options

Prerequisites

  • Configure the 2 required Trusted URLs in Salesforce Setup.

    • Gear Icon > Quickfind search for ‘Trusted URLs’

In order to render Powerpoint or Word export document, the endpoint
https://api.people.ai
must be added as a Trusted URL in Salesforce Setup with connect-src directive activated.

For Powerpoint or Word previews, the Microsoft endpoint
https://view.officeapps.live.com /
must be added as Trusted URL in Salesforce Setup with frame-src directive activated

Build the Document

Build the document template and upload it to the specific Account Plan or Opportunity template.

Document Rendering

Uploaded document templates will be available in Export Wizard to generate editable files (PPTX, DOCX).

All uploaded document templates will be selectable for rendering.

Moreover View Document Templates can help to understand what data is available for usage and provide functionality for prototyping custom document templates.

Note

Prototyping is available only if Lightning Web Security (LWS) is enabled.

Local document templates are immediately available for selection among other document templates, but only for you. Local Document Templates are intended for testing and confirming layouts. document template and then attach it to the Opportunity or Account Plan template.
