Very rarely, ClosePlan installation can be blocked.  Installation may reveal that Organizations are at their limit of certain Fields, running older releases or are missing Salesforce database components. These limits must be addressed before ClosePlan can be installed.

Content Distribution Feature

None, General Organization

ClosePlan requires related database object to be present. It usually is. Enabling this feature has NO impact on your Salesforce Organization. This feature is out of the box from Salesforce. If you Org is older, it may not be present.

Older Salesforce ReleaseNone, General Organization

Installation may be prevented if your organization is still running an older Salesforce release. In such case, you must wait until Salesforce is upgraded.

Please refer to Salesforce Trust to find out when will your organization will receive the latest update.

  • Open the current month maintenance and find the correct row based on your server instance (ie. EU17, etc.).
  • To find your server instance name, login to Salesforce, open Setup > Company Information and look for the Instance field.
