Translations
ClosePlan allows Admins to rename some Labels and Field Names through the Administration section. This functionality uses Salesforce's translation capabilities but works only for the English language.
If your organization uses multiple languages, additional intervention is required through the Standard Administration in Salesforce.
There are two groups of translations managed from two different places - Custom Labels and a Translation Workbench that handles all other components such Custom Fields, Value Sets and many other.
Translation changes may take some time to propagate due to caching.
Custom Labels Translation
Custom Labels provided by the package can be translated directly within Custom Label section in Salesforce setup. Any other translations, such as field labels, can be found in the Translation Workbench.
Setup > User Interface > Custom Labels
We recommend creating a new View to filter by Namespace Prefix = TSPC to easily list all available custom labels.
Click on the name of each label that should be translated to open its detail.
Under Local Translations section click New to define the translation for additional languages
If the language is already present click Edit to change the translation
Translation Workbench
The Salesforce Translation Workbench is a tool that helps to localize the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Translation Workbench can translate custom fields, labels, and other aspects for both local and managed components.
Not all translatable components are respected by the application User Interface.
Setup > User Interface > Translation Workbench > Override
Select ClosePlan from the Package dropdown
Change the Setup Component pick-list to Custom Field
Select the Object for which you want to translate Field Labels. ClosePlan objects usually start with the “CP:” prefix
Note: Not all objects can be displayed for English language.
Select the Aspect you want to translate.
To edit the translation, double-click the Field Label Translation, change the value and Save.
