Opportunities with/without ClosePlan

ClosePlan Forecast Report can be created on the standard report type Opportunities with ClosePlans or on the custom report type Opportunities with/without ClosePlan..

  • Opportunities with ClosePlans - standard report type, shows Opportunities only with created ClosePlans, these reports cannot be modified = standard fields in the report type layout cannot be renamed

  • Opportunities with/without ClosePlan - custom report type, shows Opportunities with and without created ClosePlan, fields can be renamed, hidden fields and few standard fields will not be available (e.g. Fiscal period, Age)

How to create custom report type:

  • Go to Setup > into Quick Find box enter Report types > open it > click on New Custom Report Type

  • Primary Object: Opportunities

  • Enter Label and Name (Opportunities with/without ClosePlan) and Description

  • Store in Category: Opportunities

  • Deployment Status: Deployed > Next

  • Click on (Click to relate another object)

  • Select ClosePlan and tick “A” records may or may not have related “B” records and Save.
